Terms of Service · Plain English

The rules, without the legalese.

These are the terms that govern your use of Holler. We have written them in plain language because nobody reads walls of legal text, and you deserve to know what you are agreeing to.

The short version

  • Holler is a content transformation and creation tool. You paste in ideas or articles, and Holler generates original content for you.
  • You own your content. Holler does not claim ownership of anything you create with the tool.
  • Credits are the currency. Each transformation or creation costs credits. Credits are non-refundable once used.
  • Don't abuse it. No spam, no plagiarism, no using Holler to generate harmful or illegal content.
  • We can change these terms. If we do, we will tell you. Continued use after notice means you accept the changes.
  • Questions? Email steve@skytech.io.

The service

What Holler is and who can use it.

What is Holler?

Holler is a web-based content tool that helps you transform existing articles into platform-ready posts and create original long-form content from your ideas. The service is provided by Steve Chazin, operating under the skytech.io umbrella ("we," "us," "Holler").

By creating an account or using Holler, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use Holler?

You must be at least 18 years old to use Holler. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

How do accounts work?

Holler uses Clerk for authentication. You can sign up with an email address or through a supported social login provider (such as Google or LinkedIn). One account per person. Do not share accounts or create multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Credits & payments

How you pay and what you get.

How do credits work?

Holler uses a credit-based system. Each content transformation or original creation costs a set number of credits. Credit costs are displayed before you confirm any generation. New accounts receive a small number of free credits to try the service.

Credits are consumed when a generation completes successfully. If a generation fails due to a system error, credits are not deducted.

Are credits refundable?

Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law. Unused credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. If your account is terminated for a violation of these terms, unused credits are forfeited.

How are payments handled?

All payments are processed through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. By purchasing credits, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change with notice. Price changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.

Content & ownership

Your content belongs to you.

Who owns the content I create with Holler?

You do. The content Holler generates for you is yours to use, publish, edit, or delete as you see fit. Holler does not claim any ownership rights over your generated content.

You grant Holler a limited license to store your generated content in your account History and to process it as needed to deliver the service (for example, applying your Brand Voice profile during generation). This license ends when you delete your account.

What about the source articles I submit?

When you submit a URL or upload a document for transformation, you represent that you have the right to use that content as a source. Holler is a transformation tool, not a copying tool: outputs are designed to be original works inspired by the source, not reproductions of it.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of source material complies with copyright law and any applicable licenses. Holler does not provide legal advice on fair use or copyright.

Does Holler use my content to train AI models?

No. Holler uses Anthropic and Google Gemini through their commercial API tiers, which contractually prohibit using customer content for model training. Your inputs and outputs are not added to any training corpus. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

Acceptable use

What flies and what does not.

What can I use Holler for?

Holler is designed for legitimate content creation and transformation: newsletters, blog posts, social media content, thought leadership, and similar professional or personal publishing. Use it for that and you will be fine.

What is prohibited?

You agree not to use Holler to:

  • Generate spam, deceptive content, or content designed to manipulate search rankings
  • Produce content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Create harmful, abusive, threatening, or harassing content
  • Generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent the origin of generated content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Holler's prompts, models, or proprietary systems
  • Use automated tools to access Holler outside of the provided interface
  • Resell or redistribute Holler's service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules and to refuse service at our discretion.

Disclaimers & liability

The fine print, in plain words.

What does Holler guarantee?

Holler is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the generated content will be suitable for any particular purpose.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for reviewing and editing all output before publishing. Holler is a writing assistant, not a fact-checker.

What are the limits of liability?

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holler and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Holler in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

What about indemnification?

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Holler and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

General

Changes, termination, and the rest.

Can Holler change these terms?

Yes. We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or a prominent notice in the app. Continued use of Holler after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Can Holler terminate my account?

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing steve@skytech.io. We are working on a self-serve deletion option. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

What law governs these terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

What if part of these terms is unenforceable?

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
